a spark becomes ignition becomes a flame becomes a wildfire...and much like nature's own fires that burn the scrub away to make room for new growth, this wildfire destroyed the choking weeds of a community...one 2" piece of glass at a time...go here and here and prepare to be set ablaze.

crunchy crackly crispy...fall leaves on a woodspath...macintosh apples dipped in caramel and rolled in crushed walnuts...smores melting in your mouth as you sit around a neighborhood bonfire...homemade butternut squash spaghetti sauce over whole wheat pasta with garlic bread, toasty and cheesy on top...thick, rich hot chocolate in a favorite mug...tiger chai tea - spicy goodness tickling your nose...these are a few of my favorites fall frolics

the weather is turning very autumn-cool ... my favorite time of year...thoughts of beautiful colors....

apples and pumpkins coming into season...geese take a last lap before flying to warmer climates...(click on sound button at this site)...and yes, school is back in session - parents cheer.

it's a time of digging up gardens and putting them to rest for the winter...

finally the mosquitos are gone, having stolen so much of the summer this year.

still some great, warm days ahead, with cooler nights making for wonderful sleeping weather.

early dusk means the night sky has more time to dazzle and sparkle...

sandles and flip flops soon to be replaced...

and a fuzzy pair of these will warm your heart...

when you're feeling small....i mean really really small....
